Happy Saturday, hope you’re having a nice weekend!! Today’s Look Good | Beauty Product of the week is the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Replenishing Cleansing Oil. I also got this for my birthday nearly a month ago now and have been using it ever since so have waited until I gauged a good idea of its value to give my opinion on the product. To check out my thoughts, keep reading below 🙂
I have spoken previously in my post about coconut oil, how hard I found it to come across a good cleanser that removed my waterproof mascara and had been using coconut oil to remove my makeup as well as its many other benefits for your skin, you can read that post Here. I figured if that was an oil based product then maybe this one would do the same job, I also am a huge fan of Elizabeth Arden’s skincare products especially their Superstart product which you will know if you follow my twitter, so I gave it a shot.
The Ceramide key ingredients include Apricot Oil which contains antioxidants acting in restoring the skin’s barrier layer, Safflower oil which contains moisturising properties and Olive Oil to condition the skin. What I love about this product is although it’s oil based it doesn’t seem to leave behind that oily residue that you have to remove or leave your skin feeling sticky going to bed. I have definitely noticed my skin feeling more hydrated since I began using it and I have normal skin type so I would recommend this a lot if you have dry skin. I also love the oil based products because I find some cream cleansers can leave your skin feeling quite tight and dried out after using them.
It is slightly on the more pricey side of products but the bottle is quite big for the price and as I said I have been using it everyday for just about a month now and my bottle is still just over half full. A little goes a long way.
