Garnier Coconut Hair Oil Review

This week’s beauty product I’ve been dying to share is the Garnier Ultimate Blends Coconut Hair Oil. I bought this product on a whim one day just pottering around the shop as I’m obsessed with coconut oil (see that post Here) and seen that it was on offer so picked it up. I have used a hair oil here and there over the years but hair products were never really something that I focused on.

I applied it for the first time after my hair was freshly washed but still wet and after it had dried I noticed a difference straight away. The texture of my hair was a lot smoother and sleek. I then added a tiny drop more just to the ends to act like a serum and it made all the difference. I considered that it might have been a once off, or my shampoo of choice that day so continued using it on certain days and leaving it out on other days (sometimes on purpose, sometimes forgetting) and when I don’t use it my hair is more dry and less shiny.

 

 

Hair oil that works

 

After researching, I discovered that it is in fact multi purposeful and is intended to be used before styling on wet hair and can protect against damage on up to 230 degrees. After styling, it is intended to tame frizz and flyaways for a sleeker look (clue is in the name, that I missed lol). It can also be used between washes for a shine boost.

The bottle pictured is still the first one that I bought, months ago, you really don’t need much product at all and a little goes a long way. Another bonus is that it smells absolutely delicious, I can’t stress this enough. 🙂 Because of this product I have gotten more into haircare and really trying to test more products and maintain a healthy head of hair. I will be sure to share anything else that I find to work. It’s the little things in life :).
